Eric Ordorica received his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT) from the University of Southern California and has been practicing at the elite level for over a decade. He completed the prestigious USC Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency, which included clinical rounds with some of the best orthopedic surgeons in the country, teaching for the USC DPT Program, as well as completing a year-long series of Advanced Management Courses for the Spine and Extremities. He has been a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) since 2009 and is currently Part-Time Faculty at Mount St. Mary’s University, where he is the principal instructor of Musculoskeletal Imaging in the DPT Program. Prior to opening E.O. Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, Eric was the Director of Physical Therapy for Beach Cities Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, where he elevated the standard of care for post-operative and sports physical therapy to the highest level. He has taken care of all types of injuries, simple and complex orthopedic surgeries, and has specialized in returning athletes to a higher level of performance than experienced pre-injury.

Eric possesses a unique set of manual therapy skills aimed at restoring normal muscle flexibility and joint mechanics as it relates to normal human movement. He has tremendous success with injury and surgery prevention, frozen shoulder rehabilitation, excellence in post-operative physical therapy, and treating complex orthopedic “salvage” procedures for the shoulder and elbow. Eric is the preferred Physical Therapist in the South Bay for Dr. John Itamura of The Kerlan-Jobe Institute, one of the world’s most renowned shoulder and elbow surgeons, and team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Eric is a native of the South Bay, graduating from Bishop Montgomery High School and El Camino College, prior to receiving his B.S. in Biology from UCSD and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. He continues to live and surf with his family in Redondo Beach. He is passionate about his craft and prides himself on educating the community about injury prevention and optimal human performance. His primary goal is to provide the best in case management and care.
